You will be picked from the airport and will be transferred to your hotel. After spending a few hours in your hotel resting after your long journey, we will take you to a half day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi.
Old Delhi is perhaps the best place if you want to enjoy the historical and traditional richness of India. Dotted by innumerable places of tourist attraction, this town is really a traveler's delight. Visit some great monuments and markets of the city including Qutab Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Residence of Indian President), Parliament House, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat etc. Later, return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Next day will be spent in exploring the best attractions of New Delhi. The capital of India is full of attractions which cannot be counted on fingers. Yet, we will try to cover as much as we can. Delhi is also a great place for shopping for handicrafts, textiles, souvenirs, sweets and fast food. Enjoy the delicious Indian fast food from road-side vendors. Later, drive towards Agra and reach there in three hours. Check into your hotel in Agra for overnight stay.
Agra is famous for only one reason – the Taj Mahal. The Symbol of Love doesn't require any introduction. It is indeed the finest piece of human art. Go out of your hotel early in the morning and enjoy a sunrise view of Taj Mahal which will leave you mesmerized. The monument looks beautiful when the rays of rising sun fall on its white walls. It creates a unique scene which in incomparable. Return to your hotel for breakfast.
Later visit the Agra Fort which is also a remarkable structure constructed during the Mughal Empire. Located very close to the Taj Mahal on banks of Yamuna River, the monument holds innumerable memories of the great dynasties. It is made of Red Sandstone with white marble carvings. There are many more attractions nearby which you may consider visiting. Enjoy shopping in the local markets of Agra and collect the best handcrafted items for your memories. Next day, leave your hotel early in the morning and start driving towards Jaipur. Stop by Fatehpur Sikri which is a historical town located a few kilometers from Agra. The town was established by Mughal Emperor Akbar and had served as a capital of Mughal Dynasty. There are many historical monuments located in the town which will lure you.
Continue driving towards Jaipur and check into your hotel on arrival.
Start your sightseeing in Jaipur from Amber Fort, a massive fort located on Aravali Hills. The town had remained the capital of erstwhile Kachhwaha rulers and was the most powerful seat of the dynasty. The massive fort has innumerable halls, cabins, Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, Sheesh Mahal and other places that will attract you. You may also enjoy puppet show in the fort.
Later visit Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Isarlat, Birla Mandir etc that too have their historical values. Overnight stay in your hotel in Jaipur.
The Golden Triangle Tour ends on day 6. You will be driven back to Delhi to catch your flight for journey ahead.
